I just found out about this site and it is the most amazing thing I have ever seen, but, which one (music wise) do I download? Also, the few tries I have made they wanted me to download like a 1.0 GB, am I missing something? Any help will be most appreciated!
Thanks

Welcome! The "lossless" options (.shn or .flac files) can be decompressed and the wav files burned to give full-quality audio CDs that are just like the originals. These files are very large, even though they are smaller than the parent wav files. Every show in the LMA will have at least one of these lossless filetypes.

Some filesets will have much smaller, but lower-quality "lossy" files present too (mp3, vbr, also streaming ability). These files are good for casual personal listening and portable players. Some of the music frequencies had to be thrown away (lost) in order to make them. That's how the files can be so small.

If you download the "whole zip" for a show you will get everything, large and small, and the download can be 1GB or more. If you want to pick and choose which files to download, do them one by one, or use an ftp program and queue up only the files that you want to download.

Good luck and happy listening!
